Taking Vitals and Monitoring Growth

During newborn visits, we'll take your little one's vitals to ensure they're normal. Abnormal results could indicate an issue that needs to be addressed.

At the visit, we'll also check your little one's weight and length. This allows us to monitor your infant's growth to ensure he or she is growing on track. Part of growth monitoring also consists of us measuring the circumference of your baby's head. When your child's head isn't growing properly, it could mean your baby's brain isn't growing normally. 

Advice

When you visit one of our offices for newborn visits, you'll receive advice on the proper way to care for your little one. For instance, we'll inform you about how long your baby should be sleeping at different stages of his or her development. We'll also help you develop a feeding schedule.
